No progress has been made, with both parties in the second day of unbelievably petty and relatively meaningless negotiations.  No new comic strips will be produced until a compromise can be reached.  The thing is, while neither parties remember what they were fighting about, neither one wants to be the first to admit that.  The deadlock continues.

Bob the Squirrel: “He’s inflexible… I’m principled…”

Frank Page: “You don’t fill your pockets with rocks and jump into the pool just to see how deep the water is, do you?”

Bob the Squirrel: “What on Earth (or any other planet) is he talking about?”
