If you’re in Rome, NY on Sunday…

On Sunday, February 8th, there will be a gathering at Franklyn’s Field in Rome, NY to build a large ‘Bob the Squirrel’ snow sculpture & we need many hands!

Those wonderful volunteers who show up will work together to form the snow mound and I will take it from there carving out the the ‘Bob’ details.

Plan to be there by 10am, but stop by throughout the day to help out & see the progress.  This will be something cool to tell everyone about.

For some added fun, we’ll be collecting dog & cat food for the Rome Humane Society, so bring a little something with you! ‪#‎RomeNYIsCold‬ ‪#‎LetsHaveSomeFun‬ ‪#‎Brrrrrr‬ ‪#‎BobTheSquirrel‬

More Appreciation that I EVER expected…

appreciationSo I’m sitting in my morning meeting at the Daily Sentinel… mid-meeting, the conference door opens.  In walks my wife (who also works for the newspaper) along with the ENTIRE office.

In her hands, hot off the presses, was this.  A four page spread about Bob, me and what the strip means to fans across town and the world.

Yet again, I am struck speechless.  I honestly didn’t know what to say at that moment… or even now.  I want to thank everyone involved with this… from the fans, the advertisers, the salespeople, the newsroom (Nicole Elliott– the mind of a squirrel… weird place, huh?) the designers, the pressmen… everyone.  This is one Squirrel Appreciation Day I will NEVER forget.

If you want to read the articles in this special edition, they can be found right here.

Thank you.

Be a Patron of Bob!

In case you were wondering, I have set up a Patreon account.  So far, I have 4 patrons, which is awesome!

Now what is Patreon? Watch and learn:

I want to keep Bob and Squirrelosophy as vibrant as possible. To do that, I need breathing room. Breathing room where I don’t have to worry about taking a paying gig over putting a bit more time into a Sunday panel or an extra Squirrelosophy panel, or if I just feel the need to do some video and need a piece of equipment.

Bob isn’t going anywhere. You as a fan can expect the same quality as always. But with your support through Patreon, Bob can grow. You will be a Patron of the arts! And, as a patron, you will get benefits that others do not. Cool stuff. Really cool stuff… and stuff that’s so cool I haven’t even thought of it yet. The more support, the more cool.

Check out the Bob Patreon page when you can. There is absolutely no pressure to commit.

Support Frank Page creating Comics that Squirrels can dance to and not be embarrassed.
