UPDATE!  The City of Rome has volunteered the use of several recycling bins for making snow blocks!

The more people that show up on Sunday, February 8, 2015, the bigger the Bob!

The fun will start at 10am on Sunday, February 8, 2015 at Franklyn’s Field, N. James St., Rome.  Bring any snow moving tools (shovels, carts) you want to use.  My idea is to make snow blocks in the general shape of Bob and then I’ll carve them out.  I just need help moving the snow.

Additionally, we’d also like to collect any kind of donations in the form of supplies for the Rome Humane Society.  PLEASE NOTE: Bringing a donation is not required to help with the sculpture.

Hopefully the snow is packy on Sunday!  I’ll be posting photos throughout the day documenting my process.  Where once there was snow, there will be squirrel.
