i’m sure by now that many of you have noticed the paypal “DONATION” button to the right of your daily dose of bob. the last few months since finishing grad school could be described by any number of choice adjectives: confusing, conflicting, constricting, chaotic… and those are just the letter ‘c’ words.
teaching college class, in addition to a full time job, full time house, family and full time bob have left me questioning what is important…what is REALLY important. you would think a question like that would be relatively easy to answer, but i can assure you it’s not.
bob and i have been together for almost 9 years. he’s been there for me no matter what time of day or night, no matter where i was or what i was doing. he’s my boy. through my work on the comic strip, i’ve found that he’s not only real for me, but for countless others all over the world. i smile when someone calls an actual squirrel bob…i may not have actually had anything to do with that, but maybe i did. maybe bob did.
so, in order to support the site and explore new creative avenues of bob goodness, i’ve placed a donation button on the website. believe me, i know times are tough for everyone, no one has been left unscathed by the recent turns and twists of the economy. but, despite all those turns and twists, you can be 100% sure that a new bob strip would be there waiting for you…each and every day. always. if you would like to donate, please donate… whatever you feel you can. i will try very hard to send each and every donor something special as a thank you.
